Experience the Magic of Nature with Our Routeburn Taster Art Adventure

Spend a full day out in the NZ landscape exploring, while sketching and painting, creating lasting memories to take home. With your guide and experienced art tutor and Queenstown local, you’ll capture stunning landscapes and explore the surrounding mountains through your own artistic perspective. 

This experience is open to all skill levels—  Included is a tour out to the Routeburn trailhead, a comfortable level of fitness is required to walk the 45 min loop trail beside the river, a gourmet picnic on location and an outdoor painting session including all art materials provided. We use high-quality materials, and this includes a complimentary art kit with Moleskin sketchbook and sketching aquarelles. With these you will create a collection of sketches to mark your journey, that you can continue using on your holiday. Your tutor will provide practical tips on composition, observation, and technique to help you produce meaningful artwork.  Along with a stop at Glenorchy village on the way home for a few photo's.

The outdoor plein-air format lets you draw directly from nature, focusing on the light, shapes, and details of the scenery. Whether you’re just starting out or have prior experience, this is a great way to connect with your creativity while enjoying the outdoors.
