Is your child keen to learn more about drawing and painting?  We will be exploring a different idea each day with a focus on fundamental skills of shape, form, colour, line, composition and shading techniques in different subjects. Then taking these skills across into painting to explore the colour wheel. 


Tuesdays  -   Patterns and shapes inside animal forms from your imagination, building layers, textures and inventing patterns through shape and colour.


Wednesday -   Layered Imaginary landscapes, colour and depth with mixed media / collage & the colour wheel


Thursday  -   Faces & people - intro to characters from different styles and techniques.


Students are required to bring their own Lunch, drinks and snacks.  There are cafes on site at Country lane if they want to buy food at breaks.  All students are required to stay on site for the duration of the session and be picked up by parents or allocated carer.

All students are expected to be able to self manage and be of intermediate school age or above.  These workshops are not for little ones and require an understanding of basic skills and terms like  3D / shading / form / contrast / narrative.
